Día 27 – O’Cebreiro a Casa Rural cerca de Furela

Hoy fue un día que de nuevo me hizo extrañar a mi querida Venezuela. Caminé hoy 34 Km y de los cuales más de 25 fue bajo una espesa neblina en las montañas de Galicia.

Today, was again a day that made me remember my beautiful Venezuela. Today, I walked 21.5 miles under a heavy fog through the mountains of Galicia.

La neblina me hizo recordar mis muchos momentos en el Páramo de los Andes Venezolano, en el que la neblina era algo diario.

The fog made me remember the many times that I spent under similar condition in the area of the Venezuelan Andes call the Paramos.

Caminar en estas condiciones te fuerza más aún a meditar y abrir la mente a nuevas posibilidades.

To walk under this fog conditions force the mind to meditate and open the mind to new ideas.

Hoy hubo subida, pero no tanto como ayer. El problema fue la bajada, tuve que bajar más de 1000 metros durante el día. Bajar tan rápido re pena fuerte en las rodillas.

As the say go, whatever goes up, has to go down. Well today was a day of monthly going down hill, which is very impactful to your knees. Thank god for my walking poles. I when down about 3000 ft.

Al final del día cuando la neblina se disipó, tuve unas vistas increíbles. Galicia es bella y la gente muy simpática. Ellos se hablan entre ellos utilizando la lengua Gallega, lo cual es una mezcla entre Español y Portugués. Aquí están unas fotos después que se aclaró la neblina.

At the end of the day, when the fog moved away, we had some amazing views. Galicia is great and the people very friendly. All of them speak to each other in the Galicia language which is a combination between Spanish and Portugués with something else. Here are some additional view of El Camino today.
